I gave Zephan points for scribbling on all the lines.  He really felt important doing the same project his brothers were working on!

I saved the best for last.  Jhereg really surprised me with the things he thought about when writing his sentences!  We took turns writing the things he wanted to say, and he asked me how to spell a lot of things.  He really took this assignment very seriously!!!
These are Jhereg's sentences:

If I were President, I would allow no excess garbage.
If I were President, I would clear up pollution.
If I were President, I would keep water clean.
If I were President, I would clean up the rocket debris in space.
If I were President, I would help other countries.
If I were President, I would help animals live longer.
If I were President, I would help all kinds of schools.
If I were President, I would support cloth weavers.
If I were President, I would build up the space program.
If I were President, I would make sure no one was homeless.

Thanks to the October Newsletter, we were quickly able to find several past Presidents who had been homeschooled for some part of their education!  Jhereg used our "Look it up book of the Presidents" to find just the Presidents from the list of names of famous people:
George Washington, John Quincy Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson.

We also read some short biographies of past Presidents, and are having fun learning more about our government and the White House with the goal of earning a certificate from President Elect George W. Bush!
